🚀 First Update! — Smarter Levels, Settings & a Happy Accident

Hey everyone!
This is the first devlog update, and I'm excited to share what’s new!

🧩 Level Design Tweaks

One design principle I’ve been trying to follow is:

"The best path is the one you can run through without ever stopping!"

That might sound easy, but it’s actually really challenging to pull off in level design. Every obstacle needs to be perfectly timed and placed so you can flow through it all without hitting the brakes.

I made a lot of adjustments to better support this idea. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s getting really close, and already feels a lot better to play!

🔊 Settings & Options

You can now adjust the music and sound effect volumes from the options menu, finally!

🌐 Bilingual Support (EN/PT)

The game now supports two languages: English and Portuguese!
What looked like a simple change at first turned out to be a bit trickier than expected… especially because switching languages mid-game required a lot of assets to be redrawn or reloaded. But it’s all working now!

✨ Small Visual Touches

There are some subtle changes to the logo and transition screen. Just a little tilt here and there to give it more style and movement.


🐞 Bugs Fixed (and Maybe Added...)

Lots of bugs have been squashed!
...But let’s be honest, that probably means a few new ones sneaked in too 😅

🎁 Bug or Feature?

One particular bug turned out to be so fun I decided to keep it!
Originally, when you shoot one of the bonus eggs, it breaks and gives you a power-up. But I noticed that if multiple shots hit it at the same time, it drops multiple bonuses, one for each hit!

So now, if you’re using triple ammo and all three shots land, boom: triple bonus!
Is it balanced? Maybe not. Is it fun? Definitely. So… it’s staying for now.
